Morning Tardy Bell:  8:50 AM
Dismissal Bell:  3:50 PM
Cutoff time for Early Dismissal:  3:30 PM

To ensure the proper record keeping, parents should notify the attendance office by 11:00 AM on the day of the student’s absence.

Documentation Necessary for Absences to be Excused
Doctor's Note
  • Must be signed by a doctor or nurse
  • Must include dates of absences
Parent's Note
  • Must be signed by parent
  • Needs to be brought to the attendance office, faxed (w/ attention to Attendance), or attached to an email

Notes are required for all absences: partial or full day.
Non-Attendance (Absences) occur in cases that include:
  • the student leaving campus for any unauthorized reason.
  • the student being more than 10 minutes late to class.
Planned absences (not medically related):
Any absences due to planned vacations, non-school related competitions, etc. must be approved by an Assistant Principal in advance.  Please request an Excused Absence Form from the attendance office to be completed by the parent and returned to the school as soon as possible.  You may also download and print the Parent Request for Excused Absence form here.
