The library is open Monday – Friday from 7:45AM- 4:30PM.

The library is also open virtually 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.

Passes: Students must have a library pass from their classroom teacher in order to visit during class. Passes are not needed during a class visit, before school, or during lunch.

Sign In: Students must sign in with their student ID number upon entry unless visiting with a class.

Food/Drinks: No food or drinks are allowed in the library.

Printing: Students may print up to five pages of school assignments per day on the library printer. Personal printing is not permitted.

Cell Phones: Cell phones should be left in the classroom when students visit the library.

Computer Use: Library computers available for student use through out the day. Inappropriate use will result in loss of computer privileges.

Checkout: Students may check out three books at a time for a period of three weeks.

Renewal: Books may be renewed in person or online (on this webpage or on the Library Canvas page) if not on hold for another student.

Return: Books may be returned in the Library Return Drop Box located outside the library doors or in the Library Return Basket in the front office anytime during school hours. During in-person library visits, books may be returned in the book drop at the circulation desk.

Overdue Books: Students have a 30-day grace period after the due date with no fines. After the 30-day grace period, the item will be marked as Lost and a replacement fee will be charged.

Damaged Books: Books that are wet or damaged beyond repair must be paid for in full. Replacement copies will not be accepted.

Lost Books: Books marked as Lost must be returned or paid for. Payment should be made by check or cash for the exact amount (change cannot be given; overages will be considered a donation to the lost book fund).  Driver’s license number and date of birth must be included on checks per district policy. Once a book is paid for, it is removed from the system and is yours to keep if found at a later date. At the end of the school year, any 8th grade unpaid fees will be added to the student’s School Cash Online account.
